“From a Bronco to an Aggie to a Pirate!” says Aniya about her educational journey to ECU. She began as a middle college graduate (at Central Piedmont Community College) to university herself. She looks forward to helping you to navigate the possibilities at ECU by showing you how to funnel your opportunities and find the information you need. Her advanced degrees in adult education and sociology exemplify her passion for higher education. She is currently undertaking an ECU doctoral program in Educational Leadership with research in the Greek life experience. She is a member of a sorority in the National Pan-Hellenic Council (ECU has 7 of the Divine Nine).

Aniya likes spending time with her family, especially her cousins and godchildren. “It’s amazing to see their curiosity, asking questions and discovering their world,” she says. And she loves Greenville’s Uptown shopping district and appreciates the beautiful environment in such a friendly, welcoming space.
