Second Degree

Second degree applicants are students who have previously earned an undergraduate degree at East Carolina University or another regionally accredited institution and are seeking a second degree in a different academic program.

Second Degree Admissions Requirements

All second degree students must:

• Submit an online application.
• Pay the $75 nonrefundable application fee.
• Submit an official transcript for the college, technical institute, or university from where you earned your bachelor’s degree. Official electronic transcripts from most transcript services are accepted. Otherwise, please have all official documents sent in a sealed/signed envelope.

NOTE: The graduating institution’s transcript must indicate the conferred baccalaureate degree.
