Morgan Barclay, Freshman Counselor
As an ECU alumna and current graduate student, Morgan is 100% Purple and Gold. She was a first-generation student and a transfer student, so she knows the importance of finding the right support. She found informative advisors that helped her with the transfer process and through changing majors, and now she can inform you about many valuable resources.
“At ECU there is a place for everyone. I had a great time in the Rock Painting Club. Getting together was lighthearted and a great stress reliever,” said Morgan. Her favorite place on campus is the Mall. “With so much happening throughout the year, this area really encapsulates the beauty and spirit of ECU!” she exclaimed.
Morgan’s family lives in the Outer Banks and she enjoys being so close to home.
Raised a “Cheesehead,” Morgan is a big Green Bay Packers fan. She enjoys the playful personalities of her two rescue cats, Lacy and Murphy.
