Marcus is a graduate of ECU’s School of Communication and is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. As an undergraduate student, Marcus was involved in the Student Activities Board (SAB), organizing concerts and events like Barefoot on the Mall. After mentoring with Collegiate 100, he worked locally for Pitt County Schools for five years before returning to ECU in 2022. “Apply yourself to supply your wealth,” Markus observed. He is committed to enriching the community through education.
With his enthusiasm for sports and the arts, Marcus is all about Pirate Pride. He enjoys sports as a former football, women’s basketball, and track coach and as an overall sports enthusiast.
In his free time, he enjoys playing the saxophone, videography/photography, listening to live music, and attending as many local events as he can.
