Marcus Plummer, Freshman Counselor
Marcus is a graduate of ECU’s School of Communication and is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. As an undergraduate student Marcus was involved in the Student Activities Board (SAB), organizing concerts and events like Barefoot on the Mall. After mentoring with Collegiate 100, he worked locally for Pitt County Schools for five years before returning to ECU in 2022.
Though he’s from Raleigh, Marcus is all about Pirate Pride. He enjoys sports as a former football, woman’s basketball and track coach and as an overall sports enthusiast.
In his free time, he enjoys playing the saxophone, videography/photography, listening to live music, and attending as many local events as he can.
