Courtney Pope, Freshman Counselor
Originally from Fayetteville, Courtney is glad to be returning to the Sandhills to work with students from the region during their journey to ECU. “With such a wide variety of programs, ECU offers something for everyone,” she said. With her undergraduate minor in Hispanic Studies and extensive travel and study in Ecuador, she is passionate about study abroad. She offers her experiences to assist students from diverse communities in navigating the college admissions process.
“I grew up coming to ECU football games with my family,” Courtney says of her parents who are both Pirate alums. She enjoys the walking trails around Greenville, especially the Tar River Greenway where she can walk her chocolate labradoodle, Dakota. He is truly her “little bear!” Come to Uptown Greenville, and you may find Courtney at her favorite restaurant, Sup Dogs.
