Class of 2023 Facebook Group

So you’ve made it through the daunting task that is the admissions process, and guess what? You did it! Congratulations to all of our recently admitted Pirates and to all of those soon to follow. We’re excited for you to experience all that Pirate Nation has to offer.

With that being said, sometimes students are overcome with the feeling of, “now what?”, after they’ve been accepted. I highly encourage joining the ECU Class of 2023 (official) Facebook group! You’ll want to get to know your future peers and there is no better way to do it than adding yourself to the group. The official page is private and run by student workers and counselors from the ECU Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This means only students who have actually been admitted to ECU can join. This filters out any random people that might pop up in unofficial groups. The group not only helps you meet people, but it helps you stay up to date on important events pertaining to you. While it is run by Admissions staff, this is still 100% your class’ group where you can start discussions you want to start. The group is one of your greatest resources in helping you prepare for campus life in the fall. Get excited, you’re about to be a Pirate.
