ECU has received a number of recognitions and rankings this fall, from organizations such as the Princeton Review, U.S. News and World Report, Washington Monthly.

ECU featured in Princeton Review’s Best 386 Colleges guide for 2021

East Carolina University is included in the 2021 edition of The Best 386 Colleges, an annual guidebook published by the Princeton Review, an educational services company known for its tutoring, test prep courses, books and other student resources.

The Princeton Review chooses colleges based on data collected annually from administrators about their institutions’ academic offerings as well as student surveys about campus and community experiences.

ECU remains a leader in latest U.S. News and World Report rankings

East Carolina University remains one of the top performers in social mobility among national universities in North Carolina, according to a new ranking.

ECU also is one of the top five nationally ranked public universities in North Carolina, along with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, N.C. State University, UNC-Wilmington and UNC-Charlotte, according to U.S. News and World Report’s 2021 Best Colleges rankings released Sept. 14.

ECU ranks high on Washington Monthly college guide lists

East Carolina University ranked in the top 15% of schools picked as a Best Bang for the Buck in the Southeast in Washington Monthly’s 2020 College Guide released Aug. 31. And for the third year in a row, ECU is included on the magazine’s honor roll for Best Colleges for Student Voting.

ECU ranked 42nd out of 278 schools for Best Bang for the Buck in the Southeast. ECU is in the top 22% of 51 North Carolina schools listed in the section. Institutions identified as Best Bang for the Buck colleges help non-wealthy students obtain marketable degrees at affordable prices, the magazine said.
