Academic Days

Academic Days are events for prospective students hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in close collaboration with select individual academic departments. Each Academic Day includes an information session of the featured academic area and an opportunity to ask questions.

Honors College

In-Person Academic Days

Learn more about ECU’s Honors College at an Academic Day designed for prospective students interested in joining the Honors College. The experience includes an Admissions information session, guided campus tour, and free time to explore campus and grab lunch. You’ll also learn about the Honors College application process, Brinkley-Lane Scholars, scholarship opportunities, and the Honors College Living-Learning Community. School of Music

Wind and Percussion Student for a Day

Student for a Day is an immersive, on campus experience designed for junior and senior Winds & Percussion students to explore what it’s like to study music at ECU. Participants spend the day attending a mock class, rehearsing with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, working directly with faculty in masterclasses, and learning about degree options in performance, education, therapy, and composition. The event also includes lunch on campus and opportunities to connect with current students and faculty—all at no cost.

School of Art and Design

We invite you to join fellow prospective students interested in learning more about the School of Art and Design by signing up for one of our Academic Days. The day will begin with an admission information session followed by a walking tour of campus that will last approximately 90 minutes, then you will have free time to explore campus and eat lunch, prior to an information session led by the School of Art and Design. Please Note: The Interior Design and Fashion Merchandising and Consumer Studies programs are housed in the College of Health and Human Sciences, not the School of Art and Design.
